Mathematical modelling is commonly used as a tool in the design of deNOx-systems in existing plants.
Interactions between operational parameters and NOx-reduction efficiency are with high accuracy scrutinised and analysed. Multivariate methodology is used. System optimisation is performed in respect to NOx-reduction, CO- and ammonia emissions as well as operational costs.
